Wet n Wild Lips

Oh, Dammy, you're back again.. DAFUQ you want? I know I know , another hiatus again. Forgive me, ONCE AGAIN. This has been a bad habit of mine that I will try my hardest to fix. I can't even blame the school work anymore, this is what I love to do, so I must stick to it. Spring is nearing and you know what that means.. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! that's right not a damn thing because whatever I wore in winter on my lips is what i will continue to where till i get tired of it. No need to change my looks now.

I love a rusty dark matte red like the next, like this little number from Wet n Wild. Its called Cherry Bomb 918D. It's great for a night on the town and if you're like me, you just wear in the day. Its only $1.99!

For a more spring time look, you can try Bare It All 902C which is a matte nude color. For me, it comes out more pinkish tan since I'm darker but for fare to light skin, it will appear more tan to skin tone. Matte nudes can be a little intimidating especially if you're on the darker side but with lips liners in a brown tone, you should be ok.

These are just little pick ups from the store that are great for any time of the year. Hay, just do you all day everyday no matter what the season. However, let me know which one you liked best or if you have them. Truth be told, I need to invest in lip liners...Seriously.

P.S. The book by Kelly Cutrone If You Have to Cry, Go Outside. Is a must have! I'm reading it  now and I'm already hooked!

First Thrifting Haul by Goodwill

Hiya! Here's a short thrifting haul video made by yours truly. I'm sick so please excuse the tone of my voice, I'm not bored with the hall I was actually excited to film it. Let me know if you like any of the pieces or if you have any suggestions on how I can vamp up some of the stuff I bought from Goodwill.

Thrift Store Haul

I finally did it... what you ask(even though it says it in the picture) yes a thrift store haul. This was the first time I actually went into Goodwill thinking not that someone else wore this stuff but wow, there are a whole bunch of cheap classic things I could incorporate into my wardrobe. If you can tell, I really had a n eye for blue for some reason. My main goal was to find a denim jacket but eventually I found a pair of old jeans that I cut up into beautiful high waisted shorts, a maxi skirt because I have barely to no patterns in my closet and this cure little tan jacket. Also I was able to catch a cute chiffon top which I cut the bold shoulders off of and made into something more wearable.  I think these pieces will go great for fall and winter to keep me warm and also look great.

Next trip, I plan on finding collard tops because my new thing is collard shirts which I think will look fantastic on grandpa sweaters and cardigans and then studding some of them up. Well, where are your favorite places to thrift and what do you find? Give me some inspiration!

Metallic Madness

Since its graduation time, the gifts keep on rolling in and yet there is more to come (I CANT WAIT!) My grandma decided to buy me this beautiful clutch from Macy's for only $24.99 which I will love forever. Its so strong and looks reliable enough to keep my things. Although it looks small, there is a lot of space inside and what I like best about it is if you don't want to carry it in your hands, it has this beautiful chain so that yo can put it on your shoulder and beez outz the door. It's a great bag, has an interesting shape and Its the perfect size for going out to party's and holding your belongings.

I LOVE THIS BAG!

Just Chill

Sadly, today is my last day in Chicago, *tear. I've had fun on this trip but today was super excellent when I ate a Belgium chocolate chip waffle with whip cream and then some raspberry tea. It was fantastic. Then my cousin took me shoe shopping at Bare Feet Shoes which have the most stylish shoes for a reasonable price. So I bought these cute leopard skin shiny flats which really made my day. They are so comfortable, in fact I'm wearing them right now as we speak. Ha, I love Chicago.

Can't ever really go wrong with animal print shoes. It's just what you need to spice up a rather normal outfit.

H&M Purple button up with Aeropastale Bermuda shorts which were on sale for 50% off

IMPACT band from Unique28

My trip has been amazing and i got some really great clothes and shoes which I shall show you later. Hope your summers are going great and I would love to hear what vacations you've been on that you will never forget.

Casual

I Finally went shopping, and bought this cute cardigan(ON SALE for $16) from Forever 21  and my boyfriend jeans from Aeropostale (75% off) and much more. All this in preparation for my Chicago trip in 5days.

I apsolutely love a long cardigan. There are multiple ways to wear it. You can wear just like this with boyfriend jeans, wear a t-shirt with leggings so the cardigan is like the dress. Or you can even wear a dress under it with some nice flats or sandals. So many choices, and I'm sure they will all look good.

My shoes are from Journeys. These go with anything casual. Shorts, jeans, carpi's and skirts. It's the perfect day shoe.

Blurry, but I like it.

C to the F

Have you ever had that feeling when you find something you really like but, its way too expensive? I know exactly how you feel. Since the economy dropped, people look for the same trends designers try to sell but at a cheaper price. I'm all for the designer sunglasses (hay if you can afford it do it) but there sometimes just a little to pricey! the wallet is crying. So instead of spending God knows how much on a single pair of glasses why not go the cheaper route and i mean CHEAPER.

These Chanel sun glasses are over $300.00

While these glasses from Forever21

run to $5.80
If you don't mind not having the crossy CC's then you just saved yourself $300.00 plus. Yeah I think that's a great deal
