One Unique Blogger: Kacie's Kloset

Hello my people's! Here is a fantastic blogger that I would Like introduce to you all by the name of Kacie from Kacie Kloset . Check her out!

1. Tell the readers about your blog, like when did you start and what you post?
April 16, 2012 was my very first blog post. I post photos of my outfits and include a fun little story with each post.

2. Why did you start blogging?
After launching my online clothing store, Daisy Rae Boutique, I began following a few different fashion blogs. I thought it looked like a lot of fun and would be a great way to showcase some of the items from my store. I have loved every minute of blogging!

3. So what equipment do you use to take your pictures?
My husband takes all of my pictures using the Nikon Coolpix P510. It’s a great camera and doesn’t cost too much.

4. What influences your style?
I get fashion inspiration from a lot of different sources. I love seeing what my favorite celebrities are wearing. My top three style icons who always look amazing are Emma Stone, Jessica Alba, and Olivia Palermo. I’m also influenced by magazines, bloggers, tv shows/movies, and colors I see in nature.

5. What inspires you day to day to blog?
I started my blog to introduce people to my store, Daisy Rae Boutique and that continues to inspire me. I also love sharing my outfits and connecting with other bloggers. I work from home, and sometimes nobody but my dogs and husband see my outfits. Blogging gives me a reason to get dressed everyday and gives me more people to talk to than my dogs.

6. Who are your favorite designers?
I honestly don’t have a favorite designer. I like a mix of everything.

7.  What are your aspirations for your blog?
My blogger idol is Kendi from Kendi Everyday. If my blog were to be as big and amazing as hers, I’d be happy. But my main focus for my blog is to help gain exposure for my store, Daisy Rae Boutique.

8.  What helpful advice would you give to other fashion bloggers?
I think the most important thing is to be yourself and have fun with it.

Hope you enjoyed! Check her blog Kacie Kloset and online boutique Daisy Rae Boutique!

One Unique Blogger: Olivia Noel

1. Tell the readers about your blog Olivia Noel like when did you start and what you post?
I started last year around October and I blog about fashion and my daily outfits. I also add bits of hair advice and mini hauls.

2. Why did you start blogging?
Well when I first started getting interested in fashion, I would go on sites like Chictopia and Lookbook and find inspiration. Then I started taking photos of my outfits and I figured the next step was blogging! It’s really addicting too and it’s fun to see so many other people interested in what I’m interested in.

3. So what equipment do you use to take your pictures?
I use a Nikon D3100 and a tripod

4. What influences your style?
Various images from blogspot, lookbook and tumblr, magazines and thrift shops. I just love taking an outfit and making it my own

5. What inspires you day to day to blog?
Comments and feedback. Just the fact that people are actually reading my blog and liking what I post is a boost to keep me blogging.

6. Who are your favorite designers?
I’m not one for designers but I do love thrift shops! I think you can find the most unique things there. But if I had to choose it would be Steve Madden. I love his shoes J

7. What are your aspirations for your blog?
To eventually evolve into something that people from the fashion industry would love to see. It’d be my dream to enter the fashion world through my blog!

      8. What helpful advice would you give to other fashion bloggers?
Just keep blogging! Even though you might not be where you want to be or you feel a bit uninspired or doubtful, there’s at least someone that looks forward to what you post.

One Unique Blogger: Amuse About

1.       Tell the readers about your blog Amuse About like when did you start and what you post?
AMuse About is my take on life, as inspired by the clothes I wear. I use the outfits I post  as inspiration to reflect on memories, events and sometimes just further develop ideas which have previously crossed my mind. It's as much about the writing as it is about the clothes, so it's very personal but fun and engaging at the same time.

I started doing the photos for it back at the end of 2010 but the first post didn't go up until February this year and back then it was mainly friends who knew about it. I've only been really active on the blogging community for about a month and the response has been phenomenal.

2.       Why did you start blogging?
I've loved beautiful clothes ever since I can remember and over the years, because of this fascination, I'd collected an impressively excessive amount of beautiful things. I felt they were being wasted hanging in the walk-in, getting to be worn on the odd occasion. So I thought blogging about these clothes would be the perfect solution to give them the recognition I think they deserve and to encourage myself to wear things I'd long forgotten about in the process of new purchases coming along. It was also a great way for me to practise my writing and do something creative beyond the corporate job that I worked.

3.        So what equipment do you use to take your pictures?
My boyfriend and I take the photos and we use a Canon 50D with an 24-105mm f/4 L lens and Adobe Lightroom for post-production.

4.       The clothes you show on your blog are excellent, what influences your style?
I have a real appreciation for beautiful fabrics and intricate detailing so silk, lace, sequins and soft leathers are things I naturally gravitate towards. My style is classically feminine and whimsical so I also Iove things that flow, drape and fall beautifully on various parts of the body.

If I try something on and it makes me feel better than I did a moment ago, that's the best way of deciding whether to buy it or not. Clothes have a way of making you feel good so that rush and happiness I get wearing certain things over others is definitely more influential on my style than any one celebrity or feature in a fashion magazine.

5.       What inspires you day to day to blog?
I love the idea of creating something and seeing the finished result. I know it's a virtual plane so it's not the same as painting a canvas or sewing a dress but there's something very tangible about a post that is being read by hundreds of people. It allows me to be creative with my clothes, my photography and most importantly, my words.

6.       Who are your favorite designers?
Right now it would have to be Ellery, Lover and Therese Rawsthorne - all Australian and all amazing in their craft.

7.       What are your aspirations for your blog?
In the short term, I would love just to increase the size of my audience and have people coming back because they love what I do. In the long term, I'm not sure. For as long as it continues to be meaningful, I'll continue to keep going and trying to make it better. Anything else that might come along would just be a bonus.

8.       What helpful advice would you give to other fashion bloggers?

I would encourage them to be thoughtful and passionate about their blogs and its content. Talk about the things that really excite them and whatever you do, do it the best you can - from layout to writing to photos. Your readers can tell when someone's put energy and thought into what they're doing and this appreciation will translate into loyalty.

Also, don't blog to become the next Rumi or Emily. Blog because you want to share the special part of yourself that makes you get you up in the mornings and enjoy living with people who are interested and will ultimately care.
