Fast Last Minute Gifts!

Oh no, it's just about christmas time and you still have not found a gift for whoever. It may be your friend, husband, niece or nephew. You feel pretty screwed, don't you? Well not to fear, here are six quick ideas that go for both men and women! 

1. Here's for that friend or family, husband or child who loves to a snap pic wherever they go. Here's the Nikon 1  camera that's a little pricey around $700 but its small and acts close to a DSLR without the struggle. Plus its a quick in and out from best buy.

2. I'm not a gift buyer by any means so gift cards in my opinion is the way to go, no matter what. Who doesn't like money handed to them?

3. About 99.9% of the world is emerged in the apple world. It wouldn't hurt to buy that niece of yours her favorite movie and a few songs from the iTunes library 

4. For those of you who own an xbox or know someone that plays often, whether it be your nephew, daughter or wife, this will be greatly appreciated. These can be found at Gamestop, Walmart or Target.  

5. Buy that special person a nice spa day. You can easily book them online so that doesn't require you to have high blood pressure or stress. A nice 1 hour massage whole body, will treat anybody well. (Great for athletes too, my mom got me these when I was skating) 

6. Concert tickets of course! To see his or her favorite artist. Enough said.

Thrift Store Haul

I finally did it... what you ask(even though it says it in the picture) yes a thrift store haul. This was the first time I actually went into Goodwill thinking not that someone else wore this stuff but wow, there are a whole bunch of cheap classic things I could incorporate into my wardrobe. If you can tell, I really had a n eye for blue for some reason. My main goal was to find a denim jacket but eventually I found a pair of old jeans that I cut up into beautiful high waisted shorts, a maxi skirt because I have barely to no patterns in my closet and this cure little tan jacket. Also I was able to catch a cute chiffon top which I cut the bold shoulders off of and made into something more wearable.  I think these pieces will go great for fall and winter to keep me warm and also look great.

Next trip, I plan on finding collard tops because my new thing is collard shirts which I think will look fantastic on grandpa sweaters and cardigans and then studding some of them up. Well, where are your favorite places to thrift and what do you find? Give me some inspiration!

Makeup: What Does It Make You Feel?

 

You ever heard that old song The Girl from Impanema, like some Latin spiceyness mixed with some jazz flavor? That's what I was feeling. With my wide lips I NEVER wear red and with my huge eyes, never to drastic of colors. However, I felt like doing a little something different. I have honestly no place to go to tonight nor any future plans but being in the state of boredom in my dorm I decided to try something new. Which is what people should do when they wear makeup. Our Senior Prank Class of 2012!

I have never been more proud of my senior class than today. Instead of doing a malicious prank to school grounds, genius minds got together and put something together in which everyone could enjoy, or at least the seniors ;). Since we cant go to the beach during school, the beach was brought to us, I'm not sure how they did, what time they woke up or went to bed but it was great. We had sand, a real volley ball net with volley balls. Lounging chairs, kiddie pools, drinks, whatever you bring usually to the beach, bikinis, bathing trunks, you name it, it was all there! The administrations faces were priceless, they didn't know what to say. I can tell you though, it is one experience I will never forget. 

My Grauation Wishlist

I'm graduating high school in 3 weeks!!!! Yeah, just a little excited, However, I've been a true procrastinator and haven't bought my outfit for graduation, shame on me. But I have an idea of what I want, in truth a nice minty blue dress with some red  velvet pumps or wedges. If I cant find a nice blue dress, then a soft yellow one it is. If I cant find the yellow, my other love is printed dresses which I think will work well with the red  velvet pumps or wedges. To top it off, a cute little clutch with a nice cocktail ring and necklace will make the outfit simple for the day.

My Saturday Favorites

Today, like yesterday was chill. I got my prom dress altered and then went to the mall to pass time so there was no need to dress up. Along with my simple outfit, I had these great watch from Betsy Johnson,, my favorite POLKA DOT! headband from Forever21 and some gold metallic flats from Wetseal . All these accessories made my outfit look better than just there, A cute headband with a nice piece of jewelry really speaks volumes, pair that with a nice pair of shoes, your in :) Plus I found this great Japanese drink called Ramune that should not only be commended for its taste but also for the presentation! You literally shoot  marble inside the drink to drink it... AMAZING.

Some Inspiration

Im sure everyone loves there room and if you don't, you personalize it to your style. My room is very personalized to my style, I even have pictures that represent what I would like to wear, great colors and some of my favorate lines. These pictures have helped me get some inspiration for what I'm going to wear in the morning.

One of My Favorate Things

Have you ever had a type of food you eat and then dream about the next time you'll indulge in its deliciousness :) Food that makes you water every time its mentioned and you wouldn't mind gaining some just to have it. Well that's how I feel about Thai spring rolls. I  know it's not like home made lasagna or anything but good Lord this stuff really hits the spot. It's crispy exterior crunches in your mouth, great sound. Then you have it's tender interior with delicious vegetables. To finish that off, the plum sauce. Have mercy that plum sauce. Your mouth will be just bursting with flavor, you just wont know what to do with yourself. Yes these rolls are that good.

I apsolutely love Independant Fashion Bloggers! Its a great site to join if you love to blog and you want people to know about it. I definatly recommend you join, it only takes a second, so dont be a bum GO JOIN. All the love you get form other bloggers is amazing and ive never had that before. Anthropologie and Beyond

Tampa is so dry, in stores, style etc, but today, downtown i went to Anthropologie. Great store with the coolest displays and array of colors. They sell house hold accessories and clothes. Ugh there bathroom things are amazing, shame i didn't get a picture of the wool covered soap Fiat Luxe Soap I'm sorry if i sound like a weirdo but this was the coolest thing i saw, TODAY!  take a look for yourself

I put this display together =] kudos to me! These shoes were so lightweight and had a rich velvety colors that just caught My eye when i saw them. That yellow purse thing i put next to it was really chic too. There accessories are so small and compact so they can fit anywhere you put them, look at those glasses. The prices are a little expensive but trust its worth the pay

Nice store right? Yea you can tell i was enthralled by all the colors and clothes. Yup Yup good stuff.
