Fall Lip Color

I'm not really the makeup type of person but for some reason I've been in the exploring some. We all know that MAC is just an awesome line of makeup so i decided to buy my first lip liner and lipstick from them. This color is great for fall and looks great on really any skin tone in my opinion. Also, pencil lining really gives a better definition of your lips and really makes the lip color come out! the lip gloss is just a nice finish so that the whole look doesn't look so pasty.

Liner: MAC BlackMoth
Lipstick: DarkSide
Gloss: Victoria Secret (I Don't Remember the Flavor, sorry )

Let me know you're favorite lip color because I find myself in MAC more than usual... scary, I'm growing up!

Thrift Store Haul

I finally did it... what you ask(even though it says it in the picture) yes a thrift store haul. This was the first time I actually went into Goodwill thinking not that someone else wore this stuff but wow, there are a whole bunch of cheap classic things I could incorporate into my wardrobe. If you can tell, I really had a n eye for blue for some reason. My main goal was to find a denim jacket but eventually I found a pair of old jeans that I cut up into beautiful high waisted shorts, a maxi skirt because I have barely to no patterns in my closet and this cure little tan jacket. Also I was able to catch a cute chiffon top which I cut the bold shoulders off of and made into something more wearable.  I think these pieces will go great for fall and winter to keep me warm and also look great.

Next trip, I plan on finding collard tops because my new thing is collard shirts which I think will look fantastic on grandpa sweaters and cardigans and then studding some of them up. Well, where are your favorite places to thrift and what do you find? Give me some inspiration!

Metallic Madness

Since its graduation time, the gifts keep on rolling in and yet there is more to come (I CANT WAIT!) My grandma decided to buy me this beautiful clutch from Macy's for only $24.99 which I will love forever. Its so strong and looks reliable enough to keep my things. Although it looks small, there is a lot of space inside and what I like best about it is if you don't want to carry it in your hands, it has this beautiful chain so that yo can put it on your shoulder and beez outz the door. It's a great bag, has an interesting shape and Its the perfect size for going out to party's and holding your belongings.

I LOVE THIS BAG!

College Student's Chill Day Outfits

All these exams I'm taking reaffirms the idea that I shall soon be a college student in less than two months! I can't just take my whole wardrobe with me nor can I always dress up depending on my class schedules. However, I found these great outfit Ideas for an everyday college student that I think I can abide to quite nicely. I'm not saying all of you should throw away your jeans and shorts but it would be a great idea if you have not already to invest in maxi skirts. They are free flowing, chic and make someone always look fashionable. I apsolutely love the color ranges so wear one that fits your mood of the day. You can always dress them up or down with a nice blouse or a cute slouchy t-shirt when your in a rush to class. If your going to be an incoming freshman or your going back to school and want to rearrange your wardrobe, definitely put these styles into consideration.

Everyday Spring Looks

I'm really on the move of expanding my wardrobe at home. From the shapes, the colors and types I want it all to change. For a start, I found these great dresses that I think would fit perfectly in my closet and many of yours. The dresses are great colors for just about anybody, they give that spring time look. Then the floral print scarf to me is adorable, I love the light pastel colors and then pair that with those cute pink flats, you have yourself some pretty good looking outfits. These are quick, take not time or effort and are in my mind, perfect for everyday. If you would like, have a nice piece of jewelry to, one that's subtle to keep the easygoing theme rolling.

What I Wore To My Award Ceremony

So today we had an award ceremony today at school, we had to look all dolled up and perty so you know we had to be on point. I wasn't really sure what to wear but I found this dress at Forever21 that I thought was just delightful, no no fierce. The color is perfect for spring and it just pops. Its simple but it speaks volumes as well. Its a sweet flowery dress that anyone could wear with ease.

Jumper Madness!

I'm not the one to like long jumpers or rompers or whatever you call them but these ones are just EXCEPTIONAL! Michael Costello from Project Runway blew me away. I'm watching the Project Runway All Stars and he just did his 5 or 6 piece runway shoe. It was safari theme and I tell you, it was nothing less than fantastic. I couldn't find the pictures form the exact runway show, but these rompers form his site show you almost the good quality of what was on the runway. I think these rompers are great for spring/summer. They are comfortable, versatile and the patterns usually associated with them are eye catchers! I was never a fan before of this style but, good God he Costello's designs just changed my mind.

Shoe's For Spring (100TH POST!!)

In my opinion, spring is a time for  new styles. It is always best to change up your look once in a while and experiment. Put down the knee high boots and even the heels and just where someting free. A great pair of sandals like those from Urban Outfitters or a nice colorful oxford like the ones from Cole Haan. Any of these shoes shown can be paired with jeans, beautiful skirts especially neon colors like neon pink and yellow (Thats my spring thing at the moment) Those Doc Martins from Urban Outfitters are so breath taking, I love that pattern. It's fresh, feminine and just looks like a fun boot. Just rememebr that you don't always need to wear heels even a great sneaker like the Adidas works well with lots of things to give your outfit a more urban and comfortable look. Pair your lovely mellow or bright colored skinny jeans with those great flats from H&M. Also if your looking for a more feminine look and you happen to be wearing a sun dress pick up those Rage & Bone wedges and flaunt them. Needless to say, open up your options more fro Spring, becasue spring is the time for new styles.
Let me know which shoe was your favorite or what shoe you think is best for spring!

Black Boots- Acne, these pretty much go with anything.

Simple Ways To Wear Stripe Shirts

For spring, cream colors are great but you need some patterns and stripes, do the trick. Stripes are versatile and make you look put together.
These are the tops were going to use. The red represents warm colors while the blue is cool. I love these colors because they are vibrant and give any dull outfit a nice splash of color.

Here I paired the red stripe shirt with a jean button up which I apsolutely love! This can be worn during the day, during school and its perfect for college students to just feel comforatable yet still look put together. The jewlery accents the colors and ust is a show peice for the outfit.

This is a way more casual/preppy look with a more professional top. This light blue button up is perfect by itself but looks very comfy with this red top. The two colors accent each other and can be worn with a pair of nice jeans for an easy going day. The rolled up sleeves, I like alot, it shows you can look good but yet feel good at the same time.

This look is more on the profesional side. Now I am using the blue top and it looks good under a black cropped blazer but what really makes this  combination is the orange scarf. The scarf accents the blue so they compliment each other. MORE COLOR BLOCKING= MORE VERSATILITY. This is just a reminder to play with the colors in your closet :) This can be worn with shorts, jeans or skirts which makes this top combination very versatile.

The blue top is here to stay but now its with this long gray cardigan. This is a simple cute look which can be worn with some leggings and flats or heels. Its cute and the beaded necklause again is just to add more fun.

Always remember that basics are great and the more you build on stuff like this, the amount of different looks can be endless. Stripes always look clean and are a basic so definatly invest in them, I'm sure you wont be sorry. Let me know which look you enjoyed! Thanks for viewing!
